Gigabyte unveils new GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC

With white shroud

Last week there were several rumors regarding the upcoming Gigabyte AORUS GTX 1080 Ti Extreme Edition graphics card. Meanwhile Gigabyte has published more details on the GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC, a new model featuring a triple-fan cooler with white and orange color scheme.

According to latest information, it appears that Gigabyte will release something that is non-standard for them. The GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC card could be the first white graphics card from Gigabyte. The cooler used on the GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC is the Windforce 3X which can be found on several Gigabyte graphics cards. The card features a dual slot heatsink and a dense aluminum fin stack that has been combined with three fans (WINDFORCE cooler). The entire cooler has been kept in white and it's still not clear if the card will come with a back plate.

While the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition works at 1480MHz/1582MHz Core/Boost frequencies, the Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC comes with a decent factory overclock running at 1518MHz/1632MHz Core/Boost frequencies. Compared to the flagship AORUS GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition, this white model is slightly slower. The card features RGB functionality and comes with three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, one HDMI 2.0 and also a DVI port.

As of today there is no date available when this card will hit the shelves of your local retailer.
