144Hz, 32 inch, WQHD Display from AOC

Goes by the name AG322QCX

AOC already has a vast portfolio of displays and with the AG322QCX the vendor is launching yet another WQHD model. Therefore the 32 inch panel supports 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution at 144Hz, which makes this particular display relevant for gaming.

To be a little bit more precise on the details, the AG322QCX comes with a 31.5 inch VA panel. As we already mentioned the refresh rate is suitable for playing fast shooters due to the 144Hz panel with 4ms response time, although the size might become an issue in that scenario. Apart from the AMD FreeSync is supported with the refresh rate ranging from between 48 to 146Hz. Other than that 8-bit color is supported, the contrast ratio is 2000:1 and the viewing angles are 178°/178°.

A quick look at the connectors reveals a prehistoric D-Sub, an HDMI 2.0, and two DisplayPort 1.2a connectors as well as a USB fast charge and 3.5mm audio jacks for microphone and headphone. From an ergonomics standpoint there is a 100 x 100mm VESA mount.

The AG322QCX still has to released and it should become available in May 2017. So far the MSRP is set to 599 Euro including VAT.
