During the past weeks, Biostar has unveiled several AMD AM4 300-series motherboards. Although Biostar only showcased AMD X370 and B350 gaming motherboards, but it looks like they’re also going to release professional products as well. Biostar is one of the first to have an almost entire AM4 lineup and we hope to see more details even from other companies.


Biostar announced a new socket AM4 motherboard designed for the purpose of crypto mining. According to Biostar, the TB350-BTC is the first professional crypto mining motherboard designed specifically for the AM4 platform. In addition to standard features which can be found on other mainstream AM4 motherboards as well, such as support for AMD's Ryzen processors, DDR4 support up to 3'200MHz, USB 3.1 ports and 7.1 Channel HD audio, this motherboard also includes a moisture proof PCB, electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, low resistance mosfets and overvoltage protection.

So far Biostar is the only company that is offering both Intel- and AMD-based motherboards designed for crypto mining. The key feature of the TB350-BTC motherboard are the six PCIe 3.0 slots (one x16 and five x1) and the two 12V EPS power connectors. Therefore this board can be equipped with up to six graphics cards.

So far Biostar has not revealed details on pricing and availability on their TB350-BTC but we are sure we will know more during upcoming Computex 2017.
