Silverstone introduces Strider Titanium series PSUs

Coming in 1100W, 1300W and 1500W flavors

Although PCs have become more efficient compared to a few years ago, there are still gaming PCs that require big power supplies. Silverstone has introduced its new Strider Titanium series of premium power supply units that will be available with 1100W, 1300W and 1500W of output power and feature modular design as well as a 7-year warranty plan.

The Silverstone Strider Titanium series lineup features fully modular cable management and multi +12V rail design with DC-to-DC switching, active PFC, all the usual protections as well as an 80 PLUS Titanium efficiency rating. The lineup will be cooled by a new 135mm bottom placed fan, which can passive below certain load levels. As mentioned before, these new PSUs will come with 1100W, 1300W and 1500W of output power. They will be equipped with up to eight 6+2-pin PCIe power connectors, sixteen SATA power connectors and the standard 24-pin connector. Furthermore there are up to six 4-pin CPU connectors and two 8-pin EPS power cables.

All units will measure 180mm in length exceeding the standard ATX form factor by 20 millimeters. Nevertheless these units are still rather compact since most other power supplies with up to 1500W measure about 200 millimeters. Unfortunately, Silverstone did not reveal any details regarding the price but did note that these should be available soon and backed by a 7-year warranty.
