AOC introduces AGON AG251FG monitor

240Hz, 1ms and G-SYNC

AOC already has a vast portfolio of displays and with the AG251FG the vendor is launching yet another fullHD model. The 24.5-inch panel supports 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution at 240Hz refresh rate, which makes this display relevant for playing fast first person shooters. In addition, AOC will show several monitors during the upcoming Gamescom 2017.

As we’ve already mentioned the AGON AG251FG monitor has been equipped with a 24.5-inch panel and 1920 x 1080 Pixel resolution with a refresh rate of up to 240Hz. In addition according to AOC’s official website, this display can be set to 2560 x 1440 pixel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display is based on a TN panel with 1000:1 contrast ratio and 400 cd/m2 brightness. AOC is marketing this as a gaming monitor and it supports G-SYNC.

A quick look at the connectors reveals one HDMI and one DisplayPort 1.2a connector as well as four USB 3.0 ports and 3.5mm audio jacks for microphone and headphone. On top of that there is a very well-built thin frame and the stand allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment.

The AG251FG is already available and so far the MSRP is set to $519 US. During Gamescom 2017 AOC is supposed to unveils a prototype of the AGON 3 and a new 27" 4K HDR AGON with 144Hz refresh rate.
