Enermax adds two models to MaxTytan series PSUs

Featuring 80 PLUS Titanium certification

A few days ago, Enermax has introduced its new MaxTytan series of power supply units. Meanwhile the company has added two more models which are going to be available with 1050W and 1250W of output power, feature modular design as well as a 5-year warranty plan and 80 PLUS Titanium efficiency rating.

The Enermax MaxTytan series lineup features fully modular cable management and a multi +12V rail design with DC-to-DC switching, active PFC, all the usual protections as well as an 80 PLUS Titanium efficiency rating. In addition both models come with a digital wattage meter for a fast read-out of your computer’s power consumption. The lineup will be cooled by a new 139mm bottom placed fan, which runs passive below certain load levels.

As mentioned before, these new PSUs will come with 1050 and 1250 Watts of output power. They will be equipped with up to eight 6+2-pin PCIe power connectors, sixteen SATA power connectors and the standard 24-pin cable. Furthermore there is one 4-pin CPU and one 8-pin EPS power cable.

All units will measure 200mm in length, which quite a bit longer than your usual ATX form factor. Unfortunately, Enermax did not reveal any details regarding the price but did note that these should be available soon and backed by a 5-year warranty plan.
