Cryptocurrency mining effect

ASUS dropped its hat into the DIY crypto-currency mining hardware craze introduction the B250 Mining Expert motherboard. This ATX form-factor motherboard comes with a eighteen PCI-Express 3.0 x1 slots and one PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot.

The ASUS B250 Mining Expert comes with no less than 18 PCI-Express x1 slots and one single PCI-Express x16 slot, which makes for a total of 19 expansions slot sitting between the bottom edge and the CPU socket. Apart from that, this board is based on Intel's B250 chipset, which basically marks the entry level when it comes chipzilla's 200 series offerings.

The rather odd feature list doesn't just stop with the number PCI-Express slots. On the right hand side of the board there are three ATX power connectors to the left of all those graphics card slot there are three MOLEX connectors for additional delivery of juice to the graphics department. Other than that there is a rather unsuspicious CPU power design featuring six phases, while the memory gets backed by one phase.
