Futuremark adopts a new name

Now with UL Benchmark branding

The name "Futuremark" has been famous for over 20 years since everyone knows that behind that name there are several benchmarks. The company's owners retired the iconic name in favor of its parent company branding. Futuremark will be known now as UL.

Futuremark created 3DMark, PCMark, and VRMark benchmarking tools, which are used almost from everyone. If you are gamer, a PC enthusiast or a publication (like us), you have used one of that benchmarks in order to evaluate hardware performance. UL purchased Futuremark almost four years ago and Futuremark operated under its original name during all this time. However, starting from today, Futuremark will be called UL Benchmarks.

To celebrate the company's rebranding, UL is offering several discounts on its benchmark software until April 30. If you are looking for some nice deal, we suggest to check the store on Steam.
