Although it has already announced its version of the Steam Machine earlier at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the company did not reveal any details regarding the specifications or the actual availability date. During Valve's Steam Dev Days, global marketing director at Dell's Alienware spilled the beans by saying tha the Alienware Steam Machine is planned to be ready for the holiday season.

Although it still did not reveal any details regarding the actual specifications of the neat looking system with blue alien head, global marketing director at Dell Alienware, Bryan de Zayas, said that they "are planning to be ready for the holiday season" with September as the goal for launch.

Earlier at CES 2014 in Las Vegas, the company hinted that we will be looking at Intel Haswell-based CPU as the foundation and some sort of an ability to "constantly update" the Alienware Steam Machine.

Of course, Bryan de Zayas also noted that some things might change since we are still far away from the planned launch date.
