Alienware has expanded its monitor lineup with another model, featuring a 34-inch VA panel with 3800R curved display and 2560 x 1080 WFHD resolution. The grey-to-grey response time is 1ms and the refresh rate 144Hz. Apart from that this monitor will be available with NVIDIA G-Sync support built-in.



This time with curvature

Dell's gaming sub-brand has released several products lately. During IFA 2017, the company has unveiled two additional gaming displays with a 34-inch diagonal. The AW3418DW is an ultra-wide display with a 1900R curvature and a resolution of 3440 x 1440, while the AW3418HW offers a 3800R curvature and a resolution of 2560 x 1080. Both displays come with support for NVIDIA G-Sync and sport high refresh rates.


Finally available but only in Asia

Alienware has expanded its monitor lineup with another model, featuring a 25-inch VA panel with 1920 x 1080 FullHD resolution. The grey-to-grey response time is 1ms and the refresh rate 240Hz. Apart from that this monitor will be available with either Nvidia G-Sync (AW2518H) or AMD FreeSync, (AW2518HF) support built-in. According to the latest rumors, the AW2518H is already available in Asia for 49'800 Yen which is roughly $399 US or 399 Euro.

Apart from that this monitor will be available with either Nvidia G-Sync (AW2518H) or AMD FreeSync, (AW2518HF) support built-in.

Dell has revealed their new Alienware Area-51 gaming desktops based on the latest high performance AMD and Intel processors. As the name suggests, the Alienware Area-51 Threadripper Edition is a pre-built system which is going to be equipped with AMDs Ryzen Threadripper CPUs

New model every 12 months

Steam Machines definitely made quite a noise during Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in Las Vegas held earlier this month and Alienware's model was certainly one of the more interesting ones announced. Although most of Alienware pre-built systems are actually upgradeable, this will not be the case with Alienware Steam Machine.


Spill the beans at Steam Dev Days

Although it has already announced its version of the Steam Machine earlier at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the company did not reveal any details regarding the specifications or the actual availability date. During Valve's Steam Dev Days, global marketing director at Dell's Alienware spilled the beans by saying tha the Alienware Steam Machine is planned to be ready for the holiday season.


Smallest Alienware desktop gets an update

Giving a bit more choice to its smallest and compact gaming desktop, the X51, Alienware now offers AMD's R9 270X graphics card as an option.
